Joe has advised dozens of public and private companies through his career at Blackstone (Special Situations, London and NYC) and more recently in operating roles at Karma Biotech (CFO/President) and several other deep-tech, venture backed companies. In his role at Blackstone, Joe advised companies, boards, creditors and/or sponsors through all aspects of financial strategy and operations, including business planning, complex M&A, structured financings, and liability management transactions. Prior to Blackstone, Joe was in Citigroup's Leveraged Finance and Infrastructure and Energy Finance teams and held positions at HSBC (equity research) and Nomura (risk management). Joe graduated from Bath University in 2011 with First Class Honors in Economics and holds a MS Global Finance from NYU and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
